Oberphones creates graphic design, illustration, text and sound works. Oberphones is Christopher Wilson (BA (Hons) Graphic Design, Central Saint Martins, 1996; MA Communication Art and Design, Royal College of Art, 2002).

Work since 1997: design and illustration for clients including Blanche Pictures, Booth-Clibborn Editions, The Builder Group, Cambridge University Press, Cat Hill Gallery, Condé Nast, EMAP Fashion, Frieze Publications, HarperCollins, Hull Film, Laurence King Publishing, National Film Theatre, Palazzo Editions, Phaidon, Robin Wade & Partners, Routledge, Royal College of Art, Royal Festival Hall, Saville Associates, Signatura Recordings; writing for Designed by Peter Saville, Dot Dot Dot, Eye, Graphics International, Icon, TypoGraphic; and music and film soundtracks with Deliberate for Blanche Pictures, Signatura Recordings and Unruly Hair Productions. Live music performances include 291 Gallery, Frieze Art Fair and Tesco Disco.
